NOTE: Applications are not being accepted at this time. The Public Health Food Protection certificate is designed for professionals working in health or human services. It prepares public health workers and others to respond to incidents of bioterrorism, infectious disease outbreaks, and other emerging public health issues. Many students use the knowledge and skills gained to enhance opportunities in their current work or career path. The curriculum can be completed by attending at least two sessions of the Public Health Institute, held in May and June every year.

Prerequisites for Admission
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
