Developmental/Adapted Physical Education MinorD Applied Human Sciences

The Developmental/Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) minor prepares Physical Education majors (B.A.S.) to teach students with disabilities in public school settings. The Developmental/Adapted Physical Education license (8710.5300) is an add-on Special Education license for individuals holding a current K-12 Physical Education license. Successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to take the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing & Standards Board (PELSB) examination for this licensure area.
