The American Indian studies minor provides an introduction to tribal sovereignty, indigenous cultures, and the historical and contemporary experience of Native peoples and nations.

Use of 4xxx courses toward program requirements is permitted under certain conditions with adviser approval.
Required Course (3 credits)
All students must take at least 3 credits of the following:
AMIN 8593 - Directed Study (1.0-6.0 cr)
Students are required to complete one of the following sub-plans.
Students may not complete the program with more than one sub-plan.
Electives (6 credits)
Take 2 or more courses totaling 6 or more credits from the following to complete the 9-credit minimum for the masterís minor.
Electives (9 credits)
Take 3 or more courses totaling 9 or more credits from the following to complete the 12-credit minimum for the doctoral minor:
