The international studies minor increases students' familiarity with their global surroundings and their understanding of important global issues and concerns. It provides them with an awareness of various aspects of international relations and an appreciation of the challenges and opportunities confronting specific world regions.

Upper Division Electives (12 cr)
Students take at least 3 courses from at least 2 different subjects, such as GER, POL, or WS. The approved list of courses is available within the INTS major Thematic and Regional Electives areas. Students propose 12 credits at or above the 2xxx level. Students may apply study abroad, including short-term programs, other appropriate courses, or INTS courses with approval from the INTS director. Other courses must be approved by the INTS director prior to the completion of the courses.
