Increases awareness and appreciation of uses, richness, and power of mathematics. Sample topics: graph theory for management science, scheduling, linear programming, statistical sampling and inference, coding information, decision making, voting theory, game theory, geometric growth, symmetry, and patterns. prereq: Math ACT 18 or higher or SSP 0103 or department consent, a grade of C- or better in is required in all prerequisite courses
