College of Liberal Arts
•
Free-Standing Minor
•
Requirements for this program are current for Fall 2007.
•
Required credits in this minor: 12 to 32.
The French minor complements any liberal arts degree. French has been the language of a major world culture for centuries and is the traditional language of the arts and philosophy. As global commerce and communication become the norm, French shares status with English as one of the two official languages of the European community, and provides a solid basis for careers in business, law, human services, and diplomacy.
